The Airmar 20-478-01 (cross-referenced under kit part number 33-584-02) is a low-profile plastic thru-hull housing installation kit engineered for Airmar P617V housing style depth, speed, and temperature smart sensors (such as the DST800 and DST810). Designed for installation in fiberglass and metal hulls, this kit provides a complete mounting foundation and water-retention mechanism for retractable insert transducers.

The kit includes a durable, low-profile P617 plastic thru-hull housing with an integrated water-flap valve assembly, a blanking plug assembly, replacement sealing O-rings, a heavy-duty hull nut, and a backing washer. The internal self-closing flap valve slows water ingress when removing the active transducer insert for paddlewheel cleaning, servicing, or inserting the blanking plug during winter storage.
