The Airmar 44-084-1-01 (Model: DT800 / P217) is a low-profile thru-hull Smart Sensor designed to output digital depth and fast-response water temperature data directly over an NMEA 0183 serial interface. Engineered with internal digital signal processing (DSP), the sensor processes echo signals directly inside the housing and outputs standard NMEA sentences, eliminating the need for an external sonar module or echosounder black box.

Featuring a 0° deadrise tilt angle, the DT800 is intended for flat-bottom hulls or installation into fairing blocks up to 7° of hull deadrise. Its flush, low-profile plastic housing minimizes drag and turbulence while operating at 235 kHz to eliminate cross-talk interference with standard 50/200 kHz fishfinders. The self-closing valve insert allows quick servicing and cleaning of the ceramic element from inside the hull.
