The Airmar 44-215-1-01 (Model: DX900+) is an advanced dual-axis electromagnetic speed through water (STW) and water temperature insert sensor kit. Designed without moving mechanical parts like traditional paddlewheels, the DX900+ uses electromagnetic fields to measure forward, leeway, and reverse vessel speed directly against pin-point magnetic sensors on its flush face plate.

Equipped with wireless Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and wired NMEA 0183 data interfaces, the sensor broadcasts real-time dual-axis speed vectors, water temperature, and 3D attitude (pitch and roll) metrics simultaneously to mobile devices (via Airmar's CAST app) and wired marine instrument displays. The kit comes complete with a low-profile thru-hull housing and blanking plug for maintenance.
