The B&G / Simrad 22098586 is a low-profile ST800 Passive Speed-Through-Water (STW) and Water Temperature Thru-Hull Sensor housed in a high-impact plastic fitting. Designed specifically as an add-on expansion sensor for the D800 / DT800 depth transducer series (such as part number 22098560), this sensor allows vessel owners to add paddlewheel speed and fast-response water temperature tracking to an existing depth-only installation.

Equipped with a 1 m (3.3 ft) pigtail cable harness, the ST800 connects directly into the auxiliary input interface of the depth transducer or instrument junction module, combining depth, speed, and temperature data into a single stream for B&G Triton, IS20, and Simrad instrument displays. Its retractable paddlewheel design features a self-closing water valve inside the plastic housing, allowing for safe in-water cleaning and paddlewheel maintenance.
