The B&G / Simrad 44172260 is a compact Inline SimNet Male-to-Male Cable Joiner / Coupler designed to connect two standard female SimNet cables together. Featuring a high-visibility yellow housing, this joiner allows marine electronics installers to extend backbone cable runs, couple inline multi-joiner blocks, or bridge cabling sections without adding unnecessary network termination.

Because it is engineered without an integrated terminating resistor, the 44172260 coupler passes CAN-bus data signals and DC bus power continuously through the network without altering the 60 Ω total bus impedance. Its ruggedized, IPX7 waterproof housing ensures low signal loss and corrosion resistance across demanding marine environments.
