It carries high-speed CAN-bus data alongside 12V DC power to connect T-connectors, power taps, and network interfaces over extended vessel distances.

Unlike thinner drop cables, the 80-911-0024-00 utilizes heavy-gauge 18 AWG power conductors paired with shielded 22 AWG twisted-pair data lines. This heavy-duty gauge minimizes line resistance and voltage drop, ensuring stable DC supply to connected displays, sensors, and CZone digital switching modules. Equipped with signature yellow identification couplers, it features gold-plated pin contacts and an IP68 waterproof rating for exposure to harsh marine environments.
