The BEP BL-SL-L is a marine-spec solid-state LPG and petrol vapor gas detection sensor featuring an integrated 5-meter (16.4 ft) pre-wired cable lead. Purpose-built for early detection of dangerous unburnt hydrocarbon vapors, propane, butane, and gasoline fumes in low-lying vessel compartments, it connects directly into BEP gas monitoring and automatic solenoid control panels (including 600-GD, 600-GDL, 600GDRV, and FD-2 series).

Designed for installation in bilges, locker bottoms, or under galley stoves where heavy volatile gases naturally settle, the sensor housing utilizes a splash-resistant, protective outer sheath. The 5-meter tinned copper lead allows seamless routing through engine bays and bulkhead runs back to the main helm display without requiring inline splices that could alter sensor calibration resistance.
