The BEP CBS-15A-SP is a marine-grade 15 Amp single-pole hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker (IEG platform) engineered specifically for integration into BEP Contour series AC and DC electrical distribution panels. Operating as both a resettable protective device and a panel toggle switch, it provides precise circuit control for branch distribution circuits such as cabin lighting, navigation instruments, pumps, and electronics.

Unlike standard thermal breakers whose trip thresholds fluctuate with engine room heat, the CBS-15A-SP utilizes sensitive hydraulic-magnetic sensing technology that remains completely stable across temperature extremes. It incorporates a "trip-free" safety mechanism that forces the internal contacts to open during an electrical fault even if the external toggle actuator is manually held in the ON position.
