The BEP D406-0003 DuraSeal 10-Pack consists of premium, yellow heat-shrinkable crimp butt splice connectors designed for joining and environmentally sealing heavy DC power cables, high-current branch circuits, marine bilge pumps, and navigation feeds in the 12-10 AWG (3.0-6.0 mm²) wire gauge range. Manufactured by TE Connectivity Raychem and distributed via BEP, DuraSeal products are built to withstand continuous marine immersion, salt fog, vibration, and thermal stress without becoming brittle over time.

Each connector features a seamless, tin-plated pure copper crimp sleeve housed within a tough, translucent polyamide (nylon) heat-shrink tube pre-lined with hot-melt adhesive. When heated, the outer sleeve shrinks uniformly at a 2:1 ratio, melting the internal adhesive to create a fully strain-relieved, moisture-proof IP67 environmental seal that prevents conductor oxidation and galvanic corrosion.
