BEP Pro Installer 8mm Single Insulated Power Stud with Power Take-Off
The BEP IST-8MM-1SPT-B (Catalog SKU IST-8MM-1SPT) is a heavy-duty 8mm (5/16") single insulated terminal stud engineered to serve as a primary power junction, ground termination point, or cable pass-through post on high-amperage marine DC circuits. Built as part of BEP’s modular Pro Installer architecture, this model features an integrated auxiliary power take-off tap, allowing lower-amperage voltage-sensing leads, trickle chargers, or small branch fused lines to connect directly to the main junction post without cluttering the main cable crimp lug stack.
Constructed from high-temperature glass-reinforced nylon and electro-tin plated brass, the stud handles continuous current loads up to 250A (50A max on the auxiliary terminal). It incorporates BEP’s patented Pro Installer modular side-plates that break away to allow interlock busbar coupling with adjacent fuse blocks, battery switches, and distribution bars, optimizing space inside marine electrical lockers.
