The Blue Sea Systems 2719 (2719-BSS) is a protective insulating cover specifically engineered for Blue Sea Systems MAXIbus 2127 and 2128 high-amperage busbars. Designed to shield live electrical conductors and terminal connections from accidental short circuits, physical contact, and environmental contamination, it assists marine installers in meeting ABYC and USCG electrical safety standards for DC power distribution systems.

Molded from high-impact, fire-retardant polycarbonate, the cover features easy-to-use snap-on locking clips that attach securely over the busbar base without requiring tools. Integrated break-out windows allow heavy-gauge battery cables and wiring lugs to exit clean from multiple directions without compromising structural insulation integrity.
