The Blue Sea Systems 4010-BSS is a heavy-duty, marine-grade red PVC terminal stud insulating cover engineered to encapsulate exposed energized studs, ring terminals, and battery distribution posts. Designed to prevent accidental short circuits, electrical fires, and direct physical contact with live DC buses, it is an essential component for complying with ABYC and USCG electrical safety standards.

Molded from high-grade, flexible PVC compound, the CableCap features an inner cap diameter of 0.700" (17.8mm) and a cable entryway diameter of 0.300" (7.6mm), making it ideal for insulating battery switch studs, heavy-duty fuse blocks, solenoids, and distribution busbars connected via 8 AWG to 4 AWG power cables.
