The Blue Sea Systems 7401 (also designated as 7401-BSS) is a single-pole, 8 Ampere A-Series magnetic-hydraulic circuit breaker featuring a modern, flush-mount flat actuator rocker. Engineered specifically for AC and DC marine electrical distribution panels, it combines precise circuit protection with a low-profile aesthetic that prevents accidental actuation in tight helm stations and companionways.

Unlike thermal breakers, magnetic-hydraulic technology ensures that the 8A trip rating remains unaffected by ambient engine room or enclosure temperatures. The breaker features an internal "trip-free" safety mechanism that prevents the contacts from being held closed manually during an active overcurrent fault.
