The Blue Sea Systems 7702-BSS (ML-RBS 7702) is an ultra-heavy-duty 24V DC 500A continuous bi-stable magnetic latching remote battery switch engineered for main DC power isolation, high-output alternator feeds, and engine startup circuits. Featuring a bi-stable magnetic latching solenoid core, the switch draws 0 mA continuous operating current in both the ON and OFF states, eliminating parasitic battery drain across long idle periods.

Equipped with a physical Manual Override Knob, the 7702-BSS offers mechanical switching control independent of electrical power. The knob features a "LOCKED OFF" position capability for service safety, preventing accidental remote activation while maintenance is performed. Built with silver-alloy contacts and heavy-duty 3/8"-16 tinned copper terminal studs, it provides high-voltage arc suppression, low electrical resistance, and IP66 water-jet resistance.

• High-Current Silver-Alloy Contacts: Delivers high reliability for live current switching under inductive and capacitive loads up to 300A @ 12V DC.

• Extended 3/8"-16 Tinned Copper Studs: 7/8 in (22.2 mm) stud length accepts up to two 4/0 AWG (120 mm²) cable lugs per stud.

• IP66 Sealed Construction: Protected against high-pressure washdowns and heavy seas; ISO 8846 / SAE J1171 ignition protected for engine room mounting.
