The Sertec CMCE 0000019 (model designation CMCE 120) is the highest-capacity electro-atmospheric charge de-coupler / lightning protection head in the Sertec CMCE series. It provides an extended protection zone up to a 120 m (393 ft) protection radius — corresponding to a 240 m (787 ft) total protection coverage diameter — designed for large industrial sites, power plants, oil & gas storage facilities, airports, and commercial megastructures.

Operating as a passive charge-neutralizing system, the CMCE 120 continuously drains atmospheric ground-to-cloud potential gradients. By preventing the formation of the upward leader (streamer), it neutralizes lightning formation conditions before an ionization channel can complete, eliminating high-energy current surges into structures, control systems, and sensitive electronics.
