The FLIR T70478 is a comprehensive Joystick Control Unit (JCU2) Kit supplied with an inline 12 V DC Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector. It serves as the primary ergonomic interface for remote pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) steering, optical/thermal zoom control, color palette switching, and menu navigation across FLIR M300-Series and M400-Series marine thermal imaging systems.

Designed for harsh helm environments, the JCU2 unit features user-programmable hotkeys, a backlit keypad, and a sealed multi-axis joystick. The included PoE injector bridges standard 12 V DC vessel power to deliver both Ethernet communication data and low-voltage operating power to the JCU2 controller over a single 25 ft (7.6 m) RJ-45 shielded network cable.
