Engineered to project a precise 112.5° portside red arc of light, it complies with international IMO COLREG 72, USCG, and ABYC A-16 navigation safety requirements for night operation.

Constructed with a heavy-duty, UV-stabilized black thermoplastic housing and a high-grade red PMMA acrylic lens, the 2843 features Hella Marine's signature snap-lock housing base. This tool-free design provides easy access for bulb maintenance while maintaining internal electrical contact protection against moisture, salt spray, and vibration.
