Engineered to project a sharp, continuous 112.5° portside red arc of light, it complies with international IMO COLREG 72, USCG, and ABYC A-16 navigation safety standards for commercial and recreational vessels.

Unlike smaller 1NM lights, the 2854 series utilizes a larger housing profile fitted with a high-output 12V / 25W BAY15d incandescent bulb to deliver higher luminous intensity over longer distances. Constructed with a UV-stabilized white thermoplastic housing and a high-grade red acrylic lens, it features Hella Marine's snap-fit housing design with anti-vibration bulb retention for reliable performance in heavy seas.
