The Novaris SSP6A-14-G is an industrial-grade 14V DIN rail surge protection device (SPD) from the high-density Slimline Series. Designed to protect sensitive process instrumentation, 12V/14V DC power feeds, telemetry loops, and signal lines from transient overvoltages, lightning surges, and induced electrical spikes, the SSP6A-14-G provides multi-stage protection in a ultra-compact 6.2 mm wide DIN module.

Featuring a high-capacity 6 Ampere continuous current rating, the SSP6A-14-G utilizes a multi-stage hybrid circuit combining fast-acting silicon avalanche diodes (SAD) and gas discharge tubes (GDT) to clamp destructive voltage spikes without interrupting normal circuit operation. Its integrated earth/grounding connection via the DIN rail foot simplifies panel wiring while providing a low-impedance path to earth for transient energy dissipation.
