The Novaris SSP6A-38-EC90 is a compact, high-performance 6A series-connected surge protection device (SPD) engineered to safeguard sensitive low-voltage instrumentation, 24V DC control circuits, PLC digital outputs, and battery-backed power lines from transient overvoltage surges and lightning strikes. Designed for maximum continuous operating voltages up to 38V DC (30V AC), the module provides robust multistage protection against surge currents up to 5 kA per line (10kA common mode).

Featuring an ultra-slim 7mm DIN-rail footprint, a pluggable replacement cartridge system, and a visual status indicator, the unit eliminates line interruption during maintenance. The -EC90 variant integrates an internal 90V Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) between the circuit ground and the TS35 DIN rail, providing galvanic isolation during normal operation to prevent earth loops while ensuring rapid equipotential bonding under surge conditions.
