The Pacific Aerials P1216 is a high-reliability TNC male coaxial connector plug featuring Pacific Aerials' FastFit solderless termination system. Functioning as the threaded variant of the BNC interface, the TNC format provides enhanced mechanical locking stability under high-vibration and severe environmental conditions.

Designed for rapid field assembly directly onto 5 mm (0.200 in) RG-58 coaxial cable, the P1216 allows installers to feed cable through narrow deck glands, bulkheads, or conduit prior to snapping on the connector—completely eliminating the need for soldering irons, crimping tools, or bulky retaining nuts. It is widely deployed in marine GPS receivers, AIS transponders, commercial VHF/UHF radios, land mobile vehicles, and wireless data systems where secure RF performance is essential.
