The Pacific Aerials P1217 is a solderless PL259 (UHF Male) connector engineered specifically for use with Pacific Aerials' proprietary FastFit cable system. It allows marine installers to route pre-wired RG-58 coaxial cables through small clearance holes (e.g., deck glands, bulkheads, cable runs) without cutting large entry points or requiring field soldering.

Once the cable is pulled through the vessel's structure, the P1217 plug thread-connects directly onto the factory-fitted FastFit coaxial jack on the cable end. This design preserves high-frequency RF shield integrity, maintains a nominal 50 Ω impedance, and ensures a corrosion-resistant, weatherproof connection to VHF radios and marine transceivers.
