The Pacific Aerials P1218 is a compact SMA male coaxial connector plug featuring Pacific Aerials' FastFit solderless cable termination system. Designed for rapid, tool-efficient field termination directly onto standard 5 mm (0.200 in) RG-58 coaxial cable, it eliminates the need for soldering irons or specialized crimping equipment during on-site installations.

Featuring a sub-miniature 1/4 in-36 threaded coupling mechanism, the P1218 delivers exceptional high-frequency performance and mechanical stability up to 18 GHz. Its small physical clearance allows RG-58 feedlines to be pulled through narrow deck glands, cable tracks, and bulkheads prior to attaching the connector body. It is widely used for interfacing marine GPS receivers, AIS transponders, 4G/5G cellular gateways (e.g., Teltonika, Peplink), and handheld VHF antenna adapters.
