The ProMariner 22074 (ProSafe FS60) is a solid-state, high-capacity 60 Amp FailSafe Galvanic Isolator engineered to interrupt low-voltage DC galvanic stray currents while maintaining AC ground continuity between shore power pedestals and onboard bonding systems. By blocking DC corrosion currents, it stops premature anode (zinc/aluminum) loss, outdrive pitting, and underwater metal degradation caused by neighboring vessels at dockside power connections.

Built using flat-pack semiconductor technology, the FS60 meets rigorous ABYC A-28 and UL FailSafe standards. In the event of a severe electrical short circuit or lightning strike, the internal design safely conducts up to 5,000A of inrush current without severing the AC ground path. This eliminates the need for expensive, dedicated status monitors required by older non-failsafe isolators. The unit features passive heatsink fins that actively cool the internal components under sustained AC fault conditions.
