It serves as a primary high-speed network link within Raymarine SeaTalkhs / RayNet Ethernet architectures, interlinking Axiom MFDs, Quantum / Cyclone radars, CP-series sonar modules, IP cameras, and HS5 Network Switches across medium-to-large vessels.

Engineered specifically for harsh marine routing through conduits, bulkheads, and engine spaces, both RayNet female ends incorporate internal sealing O-rings and locking collars. These collars thread securely onto male RayNet ports found on Raymarine displays and black-box processors, creating an IPx6/IPx7 submersion-proof seal that prevents moisture intrusion and mechanical detachment caused by hull vibration.
