The Scanstrut DS40-S is a marine-grade 316 Stainless Steel Large Deck Seal designed to pass large pre-terminated cables and marine connectors through decks, transoms, and bulkheads without cutting or removing factory-fitted plugs. Engineered to accommodate connectors up to ∅ 40 mm (1.57") and outer cable diameters between 12-15 mm (0.47"- 0.59"), it provides an IP68 100% waterproof seal around radar, satellite, and primary power cable runs.

Featuring a domed profile that sheds water and deflects accidental impacts, the DS40-S utilizes a tapered neoprene bung alongside a captive base seal to eliminate the need for liquid silicone sealant during installation. The high-grade 316 stainless steel outer cap delivers corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and a polished aesthetic on high-end yachts and commercial vessels.
