The Simrad NMEA 2000 Starter Kit (PN: 000-0124-69) provides all the core infrastructure hardware required to establish a high-speed CAN-bus marine data network on vessels. Designed around standard Micro-C 5-pin connectors, it allows chartplotters, multifunction displays (MFDs), engine interface gateways, autopilots, GPS antennas, and marine sensors to share real-time operational data across a unified backbone.

Compatible across all Navico brands (Simrad, Lowrance, and B&G) as well as third-party NMEA 2000 devices (Garmin, Raymarine via DeviceNet, Fusion, etc.), the kit includes a fused DC power node, two backbone/drop cables, two T-connectors, and two $120\,\Omega$ end-of-line network terminators.
