Ultra Anchors UFS 8-21 Flip Swivel 8mm

Ultra Anchors Ultra Swivel to suit 8mm Chain (UFS 8-21)

The Ultra Anchors UFS 8-21 (also designated as UFS8) is a high-strength, 316L marine-grade stainless steel Integrated Flip Swivel and Ball Joint designed for 8 mm (5/16") DIN 766 and ISO anchor chains. Engineered to connect the anchor directly to the chain rode, it incorporates a unique spherical ball-and-socket joint alongside a weighted flip-nub curved bridge that automatically rights and rotates the anchor into the correct upward orientation as it enters the bow roller.

Precision-machined with a seamless bridge and high breaking strength, the UFS 8-21 eliminates the need for additional shackles or swivel connectors, reducing side-load failure risks. Its 360° rotation prevents chain twisting during anchor retrieval, while its 30° omnidirectional ball joint allows articulation without binding when the vessel veers at anchor under heavy wind and tide.
