The BEP VR2-24V (also designated as SA296COMP-24V) is a heavy-duty, nickel-plated 24V DC Remote LPG Shut-Off Solenoid Valve. Engineered specifically for 24 V DC marine electrical systems and commercial vessels where integrated 12 V regulator-solenoid combinations (like the VR2.2) are not approved or supported, this standalone valve provides instant remote gas supply isolation directly from the helm or galley switch panel.

Constructed from corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass with 1/4" BSP female threaded ports, the VR2-24V requires an inline external gas regulator to be installed separately in the gas supply line. Operating in a normally-closed (N/C) state, the valve immediately cuts gas flow upon loss of electrical power, making it a critical safety component for 24 V onboard propane and butane installations.

System Compatibility Note: This 24 V DC solenoid is NOT directly compatible with the 12 V DC solenoid driver output of the BEP 600-GDL gas detector controller without a 24 V relay interface or 24 V-rated control panel.
